Using Pillbo, your records, and your rights.

1. Pillbo is not medical advice
Pillbo records and reminds you about medicines you and your prescriber have already decided on. It does not diagnose, does not adjust a treatment, and does not check for interactions.
Never rely on Pillbo alone for a decision about your health, and never delay medical advice because of something you saw in the app. In an emergency, contact your local emergency service.
Reminders depend on your device. The operating system, a flat battery or a permission you did not grant can delay or silence one, so we cannot guarantee a reminder will arrive.
2. What Pillbo is
- a record of the medicines you take, their strength, form and schedule;
- a reminder when a dose is due, and a note that you took or skipped it;
- a separate profile for someone you care for;
- a way to read a label by photographing it;
- optional backup, and optional sharing of one profile.
Some features require a subscription.
3. Using Pillbo
Pillbo is operated from Australia. Using it means you accept these terms; if you do not, do not use the app. You must be at least 16.
4. Your records
Your records belong to you. We claim no ownership of them. You are responsible for keeping them accurate, including checking that each medicine, dose and schedule matches your prescription.
Your records are stored on your device. Without a backup, you may lose them if you lose your phone.
5. Accounts
The free routine works without an account. Pillbo Pro requires an account. Keep your credentials to yourself, and tell us at support@trypillbo.com if someone else has reached your account. We may suspend an account used to break these terms or the law.
6. Sharing
Inviting someone to a profile discloses that profile to them. Send invite links only to people you mean to have that access, and revoke sharing when you no longer do. Anyone holding a working link can use it.
7. Subscriptions
Purchases are billed through the app store where you bought them. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew until cancelled. Cancel in your store account settings; it takes effect at the end of the period. Refunds and price-change notices are handled by the store, and nothing there limits a remedy the Australian Consumer Law gives you.
8. Acceptable use
- do not store or share someone else’s health information without their consent;
- do not try to reach accounts, records or systems that are not yours;
- do not reverse engineer, resell, or build a competing service from the app;
- do not use the app in a way that breaks the law where you are.
9. The app itself
We own Pillbo, its name, design and code, and give you a personal licence to use it. We may change, suspend or discontinue features.
10. Warranties and liability
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure you are entitled to a refund, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. Nothing here excludes or modifies those rights, or the equivalent rights your local consumer law gives you.
Subject to that, Pillbo is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a reminder will always arrive.
Where the law allows us to limit liability, we limit it to supplying the service again or paying to have it supplied again, and otherwise to the greater of what you paid us in the preceding twelve months or A$100. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited.
11. Ending this agreement
Stop at any time by deleting the app and, if you made one, your account. See Delete your data. We may end it if you materially break these terms.
12. Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top is always the current version, and continuing to use Pillbo means you accept it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and its courts have jurisdiction, except where the law where you live lets you bring a claim locally.
14. Medicine data and label scanning
Medicine suggestions use RxNorm data from the U.S. National Library of Medicine. Check suggestions and scanned label details against your prescription before saving. Neither is a substitute for advice from your pharmacist or prescriber.
