Delete your data
Two ways to remove everything: from inside the app, or by asking us. Both delete the same things.
If you never made an account
Everything is on your phone and nowhere else. Deleting the app removes it. If you want to clear the records but keep the app, use Settings → Delete all data inside Pillbo.
From inside the app
- Open Pillbo and go to You → Account.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
- Delete the app from your phone to remove the local copy as well.
By email
Write to support@trypillbo.com from the address on your account, with “Delete my account” as the subject. We may need to confirm it is you before acting. We will confirm once it is done.
What gets deleted
- your account and sign-in details;
- every backed-up medicine, schedule, dose record, care profile and photograph;
- every sharing invite you created, and any access someone else had through one;
- diagnostic and analytics events linked to your account identifier.
What we may keep, and why
Records of purchases and refunds are retained where tax and accounting law requires it. These contain no health information. Backups of our systems are overwritten on a rolling cycle and are fully purged within 30 days.
How long it takes
Deletion from live systems is immediate. Backups are purged within 30 days. A request sent by email is actioned within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Subscriptions are separate
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — Apple and Google bill those, so cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings first, or you will keep being charged.
