Getting started
Is Pillbo free?
Yes. Your own reminders and dose logging are free, with no subscription or account needed. Pillbo Pro is optional and adds backup, sharing and extra profiles. Pro costs US$3.99/mo or US$29.99/yr.
Do I need an account?
No. Pillbo works offline from the moment you install it. Pillbo Pro requires an account, including for backup, sharing and extra profiles.
Can I add vitamins and supplements?
Yes. Add medicines, vitamins and supplements with their schedules, then log each dose.
Can I keep medicines for more than one person?
Yes. Pillbo Pro includes extra profiles for family and pets, with up to six profiles in total.
How do I move my records to a new phone?
If you use Pillbo Pro, check that your cloud backup is up to date before switching phones. Connect to the internet and sign in to the same account on the new phone so Pillbo can retrieve your backup. Keep your old phone until you have checked the restored records.
Reminders
Can Pillbo alert me about late or missed doses?
Yes. Pillbo supports late and missed dose alerts. Notification delivery depends on your phone settings and permissions.
Why didn’t my reminder arrive?
Check that notifications are allowed for Pillbo, and that Focus, Do Not Disturb or battery saving is not holding them back. On Android, some manufacturers stop background apps aggressively. Check the manufacturer’s background and battery settings.
Can I set a reminder for a medicine I take once a month?
Yes. Choose a monthly schedule when adding or editing the medicine. Yearly schedules are also supported. Follow the timing on your prescription.
What if the label scanner gets something wrong?
Every field it fills is editable, so correct it before saving. Use a clear photo of the relevant label and check every detail against your prescription.
Privacy
Do you sell or share my data?
We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising. You choose who can access shared profiles. Online features use service providers: for example, medicine search sends your query to NLM and label scanning sends the photo to Google through our server. The privacy policy explains these uses.
Can somebody else follow my doses?
Only if you send them an invite link, and only for the profile you chose. You can stop sharing at any time.
Does Pillbo collect usage data?
Optional usage analytics are off until you enable Share usage data during setup or in You. They exclude medicine names, notes, photos and dose history. Separate crash and performance diagnostics help us investigate problems.
How do I delete everything?
Use the Delete your data page for device and account deletion steps. Deleting the app does not delete cloud records or cancel a subscription.
Subscriptions
How do I cancel Pillbo Pro?
Apple and Google bill subscriptions, so cancel in your App Store or Google Play settings rather than in Pillbo. It stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

Pillbo is not medical advice
It keeps a record of medicines you already take. It cannot check interactions or tell you whether to take a dose. Ask your pharmacist or doctor about treatment or doses. In an emergency, contact your local emergency service. The guide on what to do if you miss a dose explains where to find advice.
